About the role

As a DevOps Engineer at Teampay, you’ll lead the design and development of tooling, automation, and dev processes for operating a fast-growing SaaS business. Collaboration will be key as you partner with other team members to plan, deploy, and maintain critical business solutions, securely and with maximum uptime. The insights from the data you collect throughout the software development lifecycle will provide optimizations that allow for iterative improvement of engineering team productivity.

Common Candidate Qualifications include a strong familiarity with:

• AWS (ECS, RDS, ECS, VPC, etc)
• CloudFormation, Terraform, etc
• Docker
• Build processes, CI/CD systems, etc
• Best practices in infrastructure monitoring and alerting

It would also be nice for candidates to have experience with:

• Application Performance Monitoring tools
• Logging systems (e.g., ELK)
• osquery 
• BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc) and ETL pipelines

You would be the first DevOps Engineer in a seed stage, fast-growing company. As a core member of the engineering team, you will have a strong impact on the future of Teampay. This is an unusual opportunity to join a business with traction at the ground floor.
