WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • We split our time between developing systems and software that help increase developer productivity and operations/on-call duties
  • One important way to do this is to build self-service tools for user groups that rely on their services (e.g., automatic provisioning of test environments, logs, and statistics visualization)
  • Doing so reduces work in progress for all parties, allows developers to focus exclusively on feature development, and lets them focus on the next task to automate

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • A degree in an associated field and/or other advanced certification along with significant experience
  • Deep understanding of DevOps Culture and SDLC processes
  • Software development experience is a must
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Ability to work with SDLC approaches like Monorepo, Trunk-based development, etc
  • Good understanding of CLOUD infrastructure. Primarily AWS (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, VPC, SQS, Lambda, etc.) with some grain of GCP
  • Experience with a wide range of technologies and tools including but not limited to: JVM, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Python, Maven, etc
  • Stress tolerance
  • Open-mindedness
  • Proactiveness
  • Ability to grasp new information fast and apply it in practice

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with the following languages/technologies: Scala, Go, Nix, Bazel
  • Leadership skills (3+ engineers under supervision)
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (algorithms and data structures, big O notation, OOP)

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (Subsidized)
  • Health Savings Account
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care, Commuter)
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (Company Provided)
  • Life and AD&D Insurance (Company Provided)
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions
  • Matched 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
  • Paid Time Off
