We’re looking for a leader who is willing to transform and build-out our Security team, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty with architecture and implementation of security standards across our engineering teams.

Some Challenges You’ll Tackle

• Work with business and technical leaders on prioritization and scheduling of the security infrastructure requirements and best practices for our application infrastructure and systems
• Coordinate and complete security backlog based on needs from audits, infrastructure and industry best practices
• Coach and mentor engineering teams and team leaders
• Guide growth and evolution of the team and security standards
• Own team engagement through 1x1s, communication, celebrations, training

You Should Have

• 10+ years of experience
• 5+ years of experience with web application, network security and cloud security
• 5+ years of experience managing engineers
• 3+ years of experience managing multiple teams
• Strong knowledge of mitigation techniques for common web attacks (DDoS, ATO, Scraping)
• Knowledge of OS and container security including hardening and integrity monitoring.
• Experience in managing security on a cloud computing platform (AWS preferred)
• Experience in implementing critical vulnerability process resolution and PCI auditing
• Experience in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience coaching / mentoring Engineering Managers
• Experience in highly scalable environment/SOA is preferred.
• eCommerce experience preferred
• A strong understanding of agile processes
• A strong background in technical security design / architecture
• Strong communication (written, verbal) skills
