The Role:
Sales Engineering at Rokt is a team of technical specialists that focus on supporting the sales process, specifically providing technical expertise during the pre and post sales stages and facilitating customization work that may be required for more complex integrations and customers. Sales Engineers improve our sales conversion & quality, launch customers faster and ensure Rokt’s platform is being utilized to its full potential by facilitating innovation and customization that customers demand of us.
A key part of our sales process, Sales Engineers focus on getting our customers setup in the right way, ensuring success over the long term partnership.
Responsibilities:
- The Director, Sales Engineering is responsible for improving Rokt’s deal quality, conversion and ultimately, client success
- Is the foremost expert in Rokt’s tools and products, and applying this expertise to set our clients up for success
- Is the owner and driver of our technical deal strategy
- Leads a team of Sales Engineers
- Is able to prove the technical feasibility and value of Rokt’s platform with our clients C level technical audiences
- Responsible for coordinating customisation work with the engineering and product teams and ensuring customised solutions are built for future scale and adoption
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in similar roles at cloud SAAS, martech or adtech businesses
- Highly developed commercial and strategic acumen in multiple ecommerce verticals like retail, media & streaming, F&B, travel and financial services.
- Track record of driving revenue growth and sales efficiencies in similar businesses
- Proven record of technical expertise within these platforms and verticals
- Good understanding of web development technologies, server to server integrations and basic knowledge of front end programming languages.
