What will you do?

As the Director of Solution Engineering, you will be responsible for developing the state of the art in scalable, repeatable home retrofit design at Sealed.

As part of the sales team, and in partnership with the Sealed service team (Implementation, Contractor Management, etc.), you will develop the vision for how we align our recommendations with customer goals and engineering best practices.

You will lead a team of Solution Engineers who are responsible for building proposals and providing continuous education for our team of Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives.

You will work with our engineering and internal product teams to advance proposal automation and data collection efforts.

What success looks like?
A successful Director of Solution Engineering will improve our signature to install conversion rate and your team’s work product will result in a reduced delta between what we show the customer using remote analysis and what the contractor returns to us after a site visit.

A successful Director of Solution Engineering will build a scalable organization within the Sales function at Sealed that keeps our CAC low, maximizes accuracy of contracts, and advances the state of the art in residential energy efficiency construction.

Requirements

• 6+ years of work experience at an energy efficiency company or adjacent business
• Experience managing teams, recruiting, hiring and training
• Deep familiarity with home construction and layout
• Familiarity with plumbing and HVAC design

Nice to have

• One or more of the following current or prior certifications
  • BPI: a) Analyst || b) Envelope || c) Heating / Cooling Certification
  • PHI Accreditation
  • EnerPHit Certification
  • LEED Certification
