WHAT YOU'LL DO
Braze’s Dashboard Infrastructure team aims to make it easy and efficient to build client-facing UIs that have great UX and are consistent with our brand. The team’s stakeholders are the front-end engineers and UX designers on other teams at Braze. Dashboard Infrastructure are the primary owners of Beacon, Braze's component library and design system, and are also leading the migration of Braze's product dashboard to React and TypeScript.
We are looking for a leader to build out this high-impact, high-visibility team, hiring to scale with the business while motivating the team to improve our growing and dynamic front-end infrastructure.
WHO YOU ARE
- 5 years total experience with at least 2+ years of engineering management experience
- 3+ years prior front-end engineering experience including extensive prior experience working with modern Javascript and frameworks (e.g. ES6, TypeScript, React)
- Have a user-centric attitude and care deeply about UX
- Thrive on a high level of ambiguity, autonomy, and responsibility
- Work effectively cross-team and cross-function, and are able to think rigorously and make hard decisions and tradeoffs
