What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Build a team from the ground up accountable for ensuring that enterprise apps & software meet quality assurance best practices including load testing, performance testing, and regression testing
- Hiring, onboarding and training new QA engineers who will perform manual and automated testing
- Define the processes and documentation for thorough end-to-end test automation across key enterprise apps (i.e. Salesforce, Mulesoft, Workday, Coupa) for UI testing, performance/load testing, and regression testing
- Own end-to-end test coverage for top tier enterprise apps, with heavy emphasis on customer-facing/enabling apps
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members including hands-on coding/testing as needed
- Work efficiently to scale and build cross-functional teams across a geographically dispersed organization including U.S. and India
- Shift performance testing leftward across our enterprise app landscape, enabling early stage continuous performance testing at each service level
- Partner with Product Engineering, Enterprise Apps, Infra, and IT to drive solutions to enable 10x Coinbase growth
- Define and utilize data to provide insights and drive priorities for tech debt roadmap and NFRs
- Manage vendor RFPs and relationships effectively drive buying decisions for tooling that enables automation in the testing space (ex: Eggplant, Provar, Triscentis)
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- Solid understanding of software development methodology, and test automation tools for UI, API, security, data and backend applications
- 5+ years experience in managing a software engineering / SDET team
- Hands-on experience with a variety of testing tools both open-source and off-the-shelf including JMeter, Locusts, LoadRunner, Selenium, Cucumber, Copado, Tricentis or similar)
