We are attacking criminal botnets through the ad fraud that finances their operations. Our proprietary technology detects and prevents sophisticated online fraud. What we do:

We keep the internet safe by fighting organized cybercrime. Our products accurately detect and prevent even the most sophisticated bots and our customers include some of the web's largest and most forward-thinking companies.

Our detection markers use the entire network stack, from live packet analysis up through app-layer interrogation via JavaScript and mobile application SDK integrations. The development team works across environments, including JavaScript, native Android and iOS, and network analysis.

What you'll do:

• Ship things and help others ship things with velocity and quality
• Build amazing code following best practices
• Proactively remove blockers
• Translate project goals into technical design
• Evaluate and implement strategies to improve application performance
• Develop tests, tools and scripts to simplify others work

Who you are:

• You're a Javascript guru
• You have understanding of prototypal inheritance
• Typescript experience is a plus
• You have a unit testing mindset
• You have a deep understanding of how browsers work
• Experience with the digital advertising industry is a plus, but not required
• You have SQL knowledge
• You have excellent communication skills -- both over the phone and in person
• You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

What would be achieved in 90 days?

• Added an additional 5 signal classes to the codebase
• Handled multiple releases, and fully understands release process
• Fully ramped up to code base to be able to take on significant new feature development
• Earn kudos from peers for quality code
• Fixed 5 priority bugs
• Outlined a way to reduce technical debt in one major area.
• Developed technical documentation for 1 major application component

In the first year you will have:

• Become the owner and architect for 1 major application component
• Implemented countless new and creative ways of gathering signal
• Introduced & implemented 2 new best practices to the team
• Reduced technical debt in one major area, and improved the lives of your fellow developers.
• Made significant inroads into mentoring a more junior engineer
