PHIDO is the digital solutions division of Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, the country's largest wholesale distributor of pet supplies. As an Engineer at PHIDO, you’ll be part of a small team helping to drive huge impact; the outcome of your work will be immediately tangible. You’ll work closely with a set of bright and hard-working people in Product, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to help support Phillips’ vision for itself and the industry as a whole. What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving and executing on major engineering design decisions.

  • Building out features in support of our technical and product vision.

  • Maintaining a high standard of quality and usability in our end-user experiences.

  • Following and enforcing best practices in our implementations.

 

What we're looking for:

  • At least 1 year experience building consumer-facing applications.

  • Experience writing good CSS, HTML, and JS (ES6).

  • Experience working with React, Redux, Angular 2, or similar frameworks.

  • Keen on building complex, maintainable, and well tested applications.

  • Some experience building native or hybrid-native mobile applications.

  • A solid grasp on common build tooling such as Webpack and Gulp.

  • Interest in moving around the stack and trying new things.

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
