Alkymi’s office is located near Union Square in Manhattan, New York City.

Your day-to-day:

• Implement front end features using React, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
• Help design our machine learning product by taking technical requirements and translating them to the front end.
• Contribute to the backend services written in Python / Django / Celery, and on the JVM.
• Deploy features to a QA and production cluster on AWS using a Kubernetes-based GitOps workflow.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings.

About you:

• Has experience developing with React in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Python, Django and Celery programming experience is a plus.
• Has good intuition on UX and the ability to tailor technical requirements to fit the needs of our users.
• Familiar with the various forms of software testing.
• Familiar with git and the git-flow workflow is a plus.
• Interest in learning and contributing to our DevOps tools and processes.
