The ADP DataCloud product development team is looking for a Sr. Application Developer that is highly skilled in multiple technical areas including web application development, back-end API-based services development, and integration technologies and platforms. The successful candidate will have a strong command of software architecture, programming, latest web technologies, and frameworks.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement highly scalable, interactive web applications with high usability
  2. Design and implement backend application interfaces for data and services
  3. Design and develop integration solutions
  4. Collaborate with business analysts to define software requirements for programming effort
  5. Support production software operations, test and debug programs
  6. Report progress and status of assigned tasks to project teams and manager
  7. Provide technical leadership and motivation to junior developers

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
  2. 5+ years of experience software development experience
  3. 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Web applications and backend services
  4. Web Application development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, specifically Angular -- preferred
  5. Experience in Java Enterprise Technologies including JEE, Servlets and JSPs
  6. Experience with Node.JS, REST and JSON
  7. Deep experience with AWS platform/services is required, e.g. lambda, EKS, SQS, Aurora Postgres
  8. Experience with integration technologies and platforms; MuleSoft experience a plus
  9. Strong understanding of the object-oriented design and patterns
  10. Programming skills in other languages i.e. Python, PHP, etc.
  11. Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, preferably Oracle, Aurora Postgres, MongoDB, and other AWS cloud offerings
  12. Experience with systems across multiple platforms Windows, Linux and UNIX
  13. Experience with the open-source software
  14. Excellent understanding of web security practices
  15. Good understanding of agile development and continuous integration and continuous deployment
  16. Strong written and verbal communication skills

What are some social events your company does?

There are lots of events constantly going on at Lifion! From meetups to tech talks to our weekly Thursday happy hours, there's a good mix of work and play. We also do outings: in my one year of working here we’ve done laser tag, Barcade, happy hour on a boat, the vessel, a picnic in central park, escape the room, VR world, and more.

The People Ops Team is in full swing for FY19 Performance Reviews. It's an exciting time for the business, but requires a lot of backend work & support for our associates. We're drafting communications and timelines for management & associates, and creating the right process to gather ratings and self-assessments for a great associate experience.
