The Role:

We are seeking a quality driven and creative Full Stack Developer to contribute to delivering and enhancing a state-of-the-art user interface for our semantic search engine.

You will join our full stack development team to deliver an engaging, user-friendly analytical mobile search engine interface for Investment Research Professionals. The perfect candidate will be a JavaScript Web developer, with expertise and fluency in JavaScript, JSON, CSS and html5.

Requirements:

• A BS/MS degree in a relevant technical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology is highly desired, but equivalent experience may be considered as well.
• A minimum of two years of UI development with JavaScript required
• Strong understanding of programming language methodologies and functional programming in particular.
• Good grasp of modern Javascript, and toolchains and best practices.
• Experience in creating non-trivial web applications from scratch with modern tools such as ReactJS, AngularJS or similar.
• Experience in building robust highly scalable backend APIs with NodeJS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to create features with little guidance in small teams and independently.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills
• Experience with iterative Agile methodology and use of tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git
