Full-Stack Developer: Kaleidoscope Labs is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to be the technical lead for our ecommerce website, built on WooCommerce. This role will develop software solutions for an increasingly diverse set of challenges in ecommerce. They will support and maintain our web presence, under the supervision of the COO and in close partnership with Marketing. An ideal candidate will manage the day to day website operations, support site implementation projects, research, and contribute to the development and execution of Kaleidoscope Labs’ growth plan.

 

Responsibilities Include

  • Manage day to day operations of Kaleidoscope Labs site

  • Make extensive site and functionality updates for both desktop (and mobile) on the eCommerce platform

  • Serve as day to day owner of Kaleidoscope Labs WooCommerce website platform, executing front and back end improvements and updates

  • Act as technical lead on all aspects of the website, including plug-ins and applications

  • Report site traffic, conversion rates, referral traffic, and other metrics

  • Oversee QA and monitor website for errors

  • Build and update documentation for site behavior and third party application integrations

  • Build reporting and coordination between Google Analytics, Payment Platform and WooCommerce

  • Build and execute test plans and disciplined QA methodology for feature implementation

  • Supervise external vendors and third party support

  • Provide expertise and support around ongoing projects including: Search Engine Optimization, A/B testing, special collection landing pages, analytics, etc.

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce websites

  • Knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript. Ruby is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of APIs, and how they interact on the WooCommerce platform

  • Experience with Google Analytics

  • Experience with Payment Platform Analytics is a plus

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

  • Experience running a fashion or lifestyle brand website is a plus
