The Information Security Operations Analyst at iCapital Network is a first responder for reviewing and responding to cyber security alerts.   The analyst will work alongside the security engineer to provide situational awareness through detecting, containing and resolving cyber security threats using a comprehensive set of cyber security technologies including IDS, IPS, DLP, SIEM, AWS and firewall technologies.


Responsibilities

  • Respond and investigate cyber security alarms
  • Triage incidents quickly and effectively, escalating priorities to the rest of the team
  • Perform daily and weekly tasks to measure and report on the state of cyber security defenses at the firm
  • Assist Security Engineer with configuration of security tools and alerts
  • Front line responder to respond to and remediate cyber security intrusions
  • Open source threat intelligence review to investigate seek out new indicators of compromise for investigations
  • Must be able to work at our NYC HQ and Princeton, NJ office , when needed

Candidate Profile

  • Desired 1-3 years security related experience or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology or Computer Science preferred
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure systems, AWS preferred
  • A quick learner with desire to always learn combined with the ability to multi-task
  • Attentive, organized and detail oriented
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
