We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to join our core, rapidly growing, engineering team at our headquarters in Manhattan, New York. This is a hands-on development position. You will be part of building the Freshly platform and shaping the company’s future.
About Us
Our engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the Freshly platform. This includes our customer facing website, e-commerce system, mobile applications, cx support tools and production facilities’ toolset. We are focused on building smart solutions to complex business challenges, while delivering great user experience. We work hand in hand with our product team and are highly data driven. We emphasize building quality, well tested, highly scalable code.
This is a senior development role. You will partner with our engineering, product, and marketing teams on iPhone and iPad development and all things mobile. Responsibilities include:
- Translating design concepts into beautiful mobile experiences as well as developing scalable API service endpoints for e-commerce functionality.
- Spearhead initiatives in delivery logistics and our internal suite of operation tools.
- 3-5 years experience with the iOS.
- Extensive knowledge of Swift 4.
- Must be familiar with the latest iOS SDK.
- Minimum B.S. in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Expert in developing on the iOS platform including: application design, memory management, asynchronous behavior, interfacing with APIs, location services, animation, adaptive design concepts.
- TDD and BDD advocate.
- Must demonstrate ability to translate Sketch and Zeplin files to iOS layouts with pixel precision.
- Rails and/or Android experience a plus.
- Previous startup experience a plus.
