About the role

Undaunted by the idea of shipping clean, testable code used by thousands of people every day? Neither are we. TodayTix is looking for an iOS engineer to join our growing team of high-performing individuals. Candidates who keep principled, user-focused design top of mind and bring experience from collaborative team environments will thrive in this role.

What you’ll do

• Independently design and build new features for our award-winning iOS application using object-oriented design principles and native frameworks
• Work in a cross-functional agile team of talented engineers developing an amazing product that's used by millions of people
• Partner with Product, User Experience, and QA teams to take an idea from concept to delivery through planning, design, development and testing
• Keep an eye out for developer inefficiencies and improve processes like continuous integration to keep development fast and agile

What we’re looking for

• Strong iOS coding skills. You’re a pro at Swift and familiar with Cocoa Touch Frameworks (UIKit, Core Data, Core Graphics) and iOS programming tools like Xcode, Interface Builder, Instruments, and Git.
• Familiarity with app architecture. You know application architecture patterns like MVC.
• Real-world app building experience. You’re familiar with app development topics like networking, multithreaded programming, performance profiling, and offline caching.
• Professional focus. Your code is simple, comprehensible, and maintainable. Curiosity. You want to learn new things in a fast-paced environment.
• Excitement. You like to work in startup environments and are willing to wear many hats.
• Consumer mindset. You care deeply about user experience and design.
