Position Summary:

FIG is looking for a Junior Software Engineer/Developer to help with the building of a data analytics / machine learning platform at FIG. They will gain experience working on all levels of our infrastructure as FIG builds a platform from the ground up. The successful candidate will gain strong exposure to user interface prototyping, RESTful API, micro-service architecture, and ML concepts. This role is a good fit for a junior to mid-level full stack software engineer looking to be a co-creator of a large digital learning platform, as well as those looking for an excellent learning opportunity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience with Javascript, SQL/NoSQL, HTML, and CSS
• Must be comfortable working with Typescript, React, Python, Go, or similar languages and frameworks
• Knowledge of and prior experience with API and RESTful design patterns
