About the job

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our growing team. The QA Engineer role will be responsible for building our test automation framework and executing user acceptance test suites for all functionality developed by the larger engineering team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in real estate and will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you'll do

• Build Spruce's test automation environment
• Write and execute test plans for both existing and new features
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with the Engineering and Product teams
• Continuously learn and challenge yourself and others

What we're looking for

• You have 2-5 years of professional experience building QA/test automation tools using standardized frameworks (e.g., Selenium)
• You have experience with the Gitflow software development methodology and agile software processes
• You enjoy supporting the team in building high quality software
• You are intellectually curious and comfortable learning and experimenting with new technologies 
• You are thoughtful about architectural decisions; you value simplicity
• You are a great communicator and you exercise empathy in your interactions with others
• You thrive in a fast-paced growth stage startup environment
