This is your chance at being part of history and future success. We are looking for a Lead React Developer to join our rapidly growing engineering team at our headquarters in Manhattan, New York. This is a hands on position for a seasoned front end developer and React expert. Responsibilities of this role include defining the company standard for React architecture, educating our full stack engineerings in the best practices for React development, authoring a high quality and extensible library of shared components and applications on our existing JSON API.

Our engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the Freshly platform. This includes our customer facing website, e-commerce system, cx support tools and production facilities’ toolset. We are focused on building smart solutions to complex business challenges, while delivering great user experience. We work hand in hand with our product team and are highly data driven. We emphasize building quality, well tested, highly scalable code that doesn’t break.

About You:

• You have several years of production experience with single page applications.
• You have experience porting web applications written in older frameworks over to React.
• You are familiar with Redux architecture or other centralized stores.
• You are well versed in automated unit and integration testing for single page apps.
• You know how to configure and maintain the transpiler and package ecosystem for new projects.
• You have experiencing setting up shared libraries of common components within multiple private repositories.
• You have a dedication to writing quality code.
• You have experience peer reviewing software.
• You have experience training engineers in new technologies.
