Meeting your future team:

  • You will take part in quality assurance activities across Engineering Teams, assist in the successful execution of test strategies, plans and schedules
  • You will collaborate with key stakeholders in order to influence learning and adoption of best testing and quality strategies and practices throughout the organization
  • You will continuously monitor and calibrate all QA activities, results, defects, root cause analysis, to identify areas of improvement and drive required improvements
  • Optimize the testing approach and increase quality by leveraging testing principles

Quality Assurance Manager's at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Coaching and mentoring team members, peer groups and managers within Engineering to keep up with software release cycles and company growth
  • Evaluation and reporting on quality risk for product releases
  • Providing recommendations regarding issues, processes, and quality assurance procedures and proactively seek opportunities to simplify and automate existing processes
  • Collaboration with QA Director in order to drive Quality initiatives and promote Quality awareness and mindset
  • People Management of QA Engineering group: coaching, career development, HR aspects, recruitment

You Have:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the software quality assurance and/or engineering industry, with 4 years of direct management experience of testing or engineering teams
  • Experience managing people in globally distributed organization
  • Strong communication skills to ensure QA vision is understood and adopted  comprehensively and correctly-inspires others to adopt the highest quality standards
  • Understanding of automated testing tools, software development and testing methodologies

You Are:

  • Knowledgeable in variety of software test methodologies and capable to innovate upon them to drive continuous improvements
  • Familiar with Context-Driven testing practices and methods, preferably on applications built using the SaaS model of development
  • Able to work on a diverse team, build networks, promote collaboration and lead by example
  • Able to think independently with keen attention to details
  • Well organized and accustomed to fast paced environment

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will have a knowledge of Collibra’s product and software quality practices
  • Within your third month, you will establish solid relationship with your peers, subordinates and managers 
  • Within your sixth month, you will contribute to organizational OKRs and team’s KPIs as well as have a noticeable impact on QA practices in Collibra
