Lead Automation Engineer
What You'll Do:
- Work as a Lead on MANTL’s QA-Engineering team with a focus on being embedded in one of MANTL’s delivery teams
- Help in architecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation infrastructure
- Bootstrap automated test activities where necessary
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Perform defect management activities
About You:
- You have a quality mind set
- You understand the testing pyramid and the value of testing code as close to the source as possible
- You enjoy the challenge of breaking down complex systems into testable components and designing test coverage best suited to address those components
- You understand all systems have constraints and account for these constraints in your work knowing that there are always trade offs
Must Haves:
- 7+ years professional experience writing and maintaining automated testing suites — with strong manual and exploratory testing skills
- Good technical and communication skills — with the ability to self manage and estimate work
- Javascript / Typescript
- Testcafe, Selenium/Webdriver or similar testing tool
- Experience building out and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with API's
- SQL
- Bash
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with other test frameworks: Jest, Appium, Cypress.io,
- Experience with other programming or scripting languages: Python, Ruby etc
- Experience with Buildkite
- Experience with NodeJS
