US company specialized in consumer loans and lending services is looking for a mobile tech lead/solution architect to build their first digital mobile solution. The successful candidate will establish strong relationship with product management and infrastructure groups and drive technical decisions from project initiation to bringing the app to App Store and Google Play markets. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Conduct technical discovery and work together with Business Analyst, UX Designer, Product Owner and Infrastructure Lead to outline major requirements for the future mobile solution
• Create an application architecture, identify critical dependencies and main architectural components of the solution
• Establish set of standards and guidelines to enable productive development cycle, good engineering hygiene and culture
• Define branching strategy, dependency management standards and SCM workflows
• Work with existing infrastructure team to expand current DevOps capabilities and enable support of mobile ecosystem
• Enable mobile CI/CD best practices, define high level requirements for mobile pipelines, deployment procedures, release planning and release management
• Identify existing gaps in available environments, analyze compatibility of existing APIs and establish API contracts for mobile specific features
• Provide technical leadership and coordination between mobile development, infrastructure and product management teams

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in financial services is a plus
• Previous experience in payment provider integrations
• Some experience in native mobile development is a big plus (Swift or Kotlin), but not required
