Luxury Presence is a rapidly growing Bessemer-backed SaaS startup that enables real estate agents to manage their online presence. We are moving fast to become the all-in-one marketing platform for the industry. 

We are looking for a QA engineer to be responsible to maintain and evolve our automation framework in our mobile team. Our app is going to release soon, and we have a need for a strong QA automation engineer to create and maintain our tests.

We currently are running our React Native app testing with Maestro in iOS, powered by a Github actions pipeline. We will soon release for Android and the app is constantly in development.

Who is the Growth Products group?

Our mission is to empower real estate agents and buyers to help them to collaborate in their search for a new home.

We are building the Presence Copilot, a personal assistant powered by AI to provide agents with the most up-to-date information on the go and consolidate information about their clients. 

Our main product is an iOS React Native application with an Android version for next year.We are currently in alpha with plans to release it in Q1 in 2024.

What you will do as a Mobile Automation Engineer:

• Develop and execute automated test cases for mobile applications using Maestro
• Analyze requirements and provide feedback to ensure automated tests are comprehensive and effective and improve upon them.
• Improve our CI/CD pipeline using Github actions to make test results more visible, execute faster, and be more robust.
• Champion the QA process among the Growth group, getting the engineers excited about doing QA and helping them do tests (our engineers do manual testing!).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, with a focus on automation.
• Report and manage bugs and issues, leveraging automated testing to identify and isolate issues as efficiently as possible.
• Stay up-to-date with mobile automation technologies and improve test processes and methodologies to achieve efficient and effective mobile automated testing.

Skills And Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience with QA (Manual or Automation)
• 2+ experience with any QA automation tool like (Playwright, Appium). We use Maestro.
• Experience with creating testing CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience testing mobile devices such as Android, iOS
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Javascript.
• Solid understanding of QA concepts like Page Object Model, Test Pyramid, etc.
• Experience leading a QA project (not necessarily being a manager) inside a squad.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Extreme Ownership will need to champion the QA process and get engineers excited to enroll in it.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with mobile E2E test automation tools for React Native (we use Maestro).
• Experience with testing consumer products
• Experience with mobile testing (Either manual or automation)
