CardFlight is seeking a Mobile Developer to join our SwipeSimple team.
The Mobile Developer will assist with the building and maintenance of SwipeSimple, CardFlight’s iOS/Android application enabling small businesses to accept credit cards. You will be designing high quality, complex interactions for both small businesses and their customers. In addition, you’ll be working alongside our UI/UX and Product teams to provide your thoughts and opinions on product direction and design.

The Mobile Developer will report to the Senior Director of Applications Development.
What You’ll Do:
Developing & Building (80%)
- Design, create, and support products for the iOS or Android platform
- Ensure quality and responsiveness of the products
- Identify and fix bugs or bottleneck issues
- Work collaboratively with other developers in an agile environment
Open Source Contribution (10%)
- Spend up to 10% of your time contributing to Open Source software
Team Engagement (10%)
- Get involved with company-wide meetings and outings
- Become immersed in the payments industry
- Obtain and maintain a full understanding of our clients’ needs
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Professional experience building Android and/or iOS applications
- A strong understanding of mobile application development processes
- A willingness to learn new languages or technologies
- Superior people skills and a positive attitude
- The ability to be flexible and flourish in a fast-paced atmosphere while remaining focused, working productively, and successfully juggling many tasks
Nice to Haves:
- Experience working with Swift and Kotlin
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Experience in and/or knowledge of the mobile payments industry and technologies
