JW Player is looking for an accomplished Mobile Software Engineer to join our Player SDKs team. The ideal candidate will have recent commercial experience developing native iOS applications, as well as applications built using a hybrid / WebView approach. This role will lead help lead the charge to enhance our JW Player SDK for iOS products to simplify the process of releasing video applications to mobile platforms.

In this role you will:

• Work as part of a scrum team in an agile environment
• Build and maintain JW Player Mobile SDKs
• Develop commercial features from the Product Backlog
• Prototype new ideas and explore new solutions to the growing list of features within the Player

Requirements:

• 2+ years iOS app development experience
• Smart and motivated, with a proven track record of getting things done
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or experience equivalent

Bonus Points:

• Mobile web front-end development experience (HTML/JavaScript/CSS)
• Hybrid app development
• Mobile video experience (Android MediaPlayer / iOS AVPlayer / MPMoviePlayerController)
