About Support Team

Taking place as a branch of the Tech Ops division, the support team is the technical focal point of all the technical teams. While performing the operation and monitoring duties, the Operations Engineer knows all tech-savvy that is in charge of DoubleVerify’s environments.

Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining DoubleVerify's applications, servers, and network
  • Monitoring and administering Linux and Windows systems. Taking appropriate actions on system alerts based on standard operating procedure
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development and deployment
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues using SQL queries
  • Maintenance of technical documentation (Internal Support team), processes and procedures used throughout normal operations
  • Development of knowledge and skills in network and system administration, particularly with regards to DoubleVerify's own architecture and platforms
  • Participation in 24/7/365 on-call rotation

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience with monitoring systems and management tools (ex: Nagios)
  • 2+ years Windows/Linux administration skills (IIS and/or Apache configuration)
  • 2+ years experience working with Virtual machines (VMWare)
  • Familiarity with orchestration and containerization solutions (Docker, Kubernetes) - Advantage
  • Basic understanding of SQL
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash - Advantage
  • Experience with automation/configuration management including Ansible, Jenkins - Advantage
  • Experience with Kubernetes \ Kafka - Big Advantage
  • Familiarity with cloud computing 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent social skills
  • Customer service oriented (inbound)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Previous experience with technical documentation
