We are looking for a Platform Engineer to develop tools for infrastructure management, automation, monitoring and operations for our 20+ engineering team. The ideal candidate’s prior work experience reflects high standards for engineering with proven capabilities. The candidate possesses the ability to take on important business challenges and execute them with precision and quality.
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
Solid background in computer networking
Strong knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure (AWS, Google, Azure, etc)
Experience with automation/configuration management (Docker, Puppet, Chef or an equivalent)
Experience with build automation tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI, etc)
Experience with Database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis etc)
Experience with Distributed Computing architectures
Ability to work independently and quickly, but cares about precision and details, doing whatever it takes to get the job done
Encouraged to take risks and push yourself to new heights
Ability to estimate, plan and prioritize own tasks
At least 4 years production experience required
**NICE TO HAVES**
BA/BS degree, preferably in a technical field (Computer Science, IT, etc) or equivalent practical experience
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm and cloud infrastructure
Experience with Node.js
Experience with HIPAA and strong security practices
Experience integrating with third party health systems
