Job Duties:
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks an Platform Engineer at our New York, NY location. Responsibilities: Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, constructions, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Develop and review software requirements, create design documents, write programs, package, test, configure, and deploy software. Work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions. Develop and enhance software programs and data structures that meet business objectives. Design, develop, test, and refine software deliverables. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus three (3) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus one (1) years of experience in lieu of bachelor's degree plus three years of experience.
Work Experience:
One (1) Year of Experience must include: Programming languages, including Java, C#, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python; Data structures and algorithms; Unit testing or Test-Driven Development (TDD) using unit testing frameworks, including Junit or Jest; Relational databases with a mainstream RDBMS solution including MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or Postgres; Structured Query Language (SQL); Microservices / SOA and API design and development; Object-oriented analysis and design / object-oriented programming; Networking concepts and protocols; IDE including Webstorm, VS Code, Visual Studio, Eclipse or Netbeans; and Cloud technologies including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
