Job Duties:
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Platform Engineer at our New York, New York location. Responsibilities: Participate in relevant aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, constructions, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Develop and enhance software programs with data structures that best suit the system's scalability and performance requirements. Debug and troubleshoot software system issues. Participate in preparing proofs of concepts and analyze new technology for its relevance to the software product being built.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus one (1) year of related experience.
Work Experience:
One (1) year of experience must include: JavaScript frameworks including Angular.js, Vue.js or React; OOP technologies including Java or C#; Browser technologies including JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5; Data structures, algorithms, and run-time optimization; Node.js, C++, Ruby on Rails or Python; Data stores: MySQL, Postgres, Redis or ElasticSearch; Cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud or Azure; Linux shell scripting; Container orchestration tools including Kubernetes or Docker; Agile software methodology, including Scrum, Kanban and Lean; and Software development best practices, including TDD and pair programming.
