About the role:

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to help secure our future in terms of software architecture and Developer Operations (DevOps).

• You will assist in managing and improving the key systems that make LeagueApps tick: infrastructure as code tooling, MySQL, and system monitoring & alerting
• You will ensure the stability of our platform through identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks
• You will plan and execute software engineering projects to extend & maintain our primary Java code-base
• You will research, implement, and evangelize new tools and technologies to support infrastructure, devops, and security improvements to the platform.
• You will provide troubleshooting and escalated technical support for production features.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate proficiency in Java, SQL, and basic *nix skills.
