Job Title: Principal Application Developer
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Job Duties:
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Principal Application Developer in our Parsippany, New Jersey location. Responsibilities: Participate in the analysis, planning, design, development, implementation, and documentation of software application modules. Collaborate with application architects, product owners and subject matter experts to design and implement advanced technical solutions. Participate in Scrum ceremonies required in Agile software development. Create and maintain technical documentation for software design and implementation details. Support software operations and test and debug programs, both in lab and production environments.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus three (3) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience.
Work Experience:
Two (2) years of experience must include: Python; SQL; Agile framework; Design patterns; Kafka; Docker; Microservices; Kubernetes; Restful API; Unit Testing Frameworks; JavaScript; Flask; Cloud Technologies; and Test driven development.
