Meeting your future team:

Joining Collibra’s Software Engineering team:

  • You will influence every part of the front-end ecosystem in Collibra.
  • Take the lead from a user interface point of view for the scope of a specific product. Be responsible for the front-end development work.
  • You will be cooperating with product leadership members and will report to senior leadership.

Principal Software Engineers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Front-end architecture evaluations, designs, and consultations
  • Front-end architecture strategy
  • Front-end architecture best practices
  • Collaborating with the team on technical solutions for the UX designs
  • Following the backlog grooming meetings for the Product Teams to record the front-end needs that are to be brought back to the front-end architecture board for review, prioritization and assignment

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in frontend related web technologies and at least 3+ years of experience as a hands on frontend engineer
  • Experience leading at least one complex front-end project
  • Delivered at least one production grade complex project with the cross functional team 
  • A good knowledge of React, Relay, GraphQL/REST, Typescript, and preferably of Webpack, Node, TSLint/ESLint

  • Familiar with front-end testing strategies and tools and CI/CD concepts and tools
  • Experienced and motivated to collaborate with different people, cross countries in a changing work environment
  • Courageous to propose and implement challenging solutions
  • An effective and positive communicator (high culture of communicating with other people)
  • Experienced at running a community of practices
  • Someone who understands software development processes and is proficient in agile methodologies

Measuring Success:

Reporting to Collibra’s VP Software Engineering, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will get familiarized with front-end architecture, the development flow and tooling used in Collibra.
  • Within your third month, you will have significant influence shaping front-end architecture and development processes around it.
  • Within your sixth month, you will lead a new or existing key Front-end strategy or product.
