Job Description

We're excited to recruit a Process Improvement Engineer to join the Operational Excellence (OpEx) team and participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of operational process design.

 

OpEx partners with leaders across MSK to identify projects and initiatives that consistently deliver the ideal end-to-end, experience to every patient and family through a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. Our reach spans across clinical and hospital operations from the newly designed Koch Center to Telemedicine, Supply Chain, Hospital Operations and more!

You will:

  • Provides expertise in project design, development, implementation, training and support for processes and workflows
  • Lead and oversee the timely and successful completion of projects
  • Actively participate in Root Cause Analysis to identify areas for improvement including process redesign, workflow alignments and adjustments, and elimination of redundant and unnecessary tasks to create safe, standard and effective action plans
  • Collaborate with project managers and leadership to deliver results

You have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Healthcare, Operations or related field
  • Ability to build networks, persuade, manage complexity and communicate effectively
  • Lean/Six Sigma training
  • Strong data analytics experience, process mapping, & visualization
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Location: Midtown East, NYC (remote through 2020)
