About the Role
The Click Therapeutics Prototype team focuses on the development and early-stage testing of novel cognitive and neurobehavioral mechanisms of action for Click Therapeutics’ products. The Prototype Engineer is a key, interdisciplinary role at Click Therapeutics and works closely with the Science team to conceptualize, design and develop research prototypes for testing in clinical research projects. The Prototype Engineer provides full-stack development and product conception support, working closely with the Translational Sciences, Discovery, and Product teams to:
- document clinical and prototype specifications via technical writing
- prepare design mockups
- develop and iterate coded prototypes based on feasibility and field testing
- draft the technical aspects of intellectual property filings related to the prototypes
- assist in developing and supporting the technology infrastructure to facilitate experiments of test designs and prototypes
The Prototype Engineer must have a collaborative, hands-on, and ownership focused approach to the position. This individual will be comfortable working with ambiguity and doing whatever is needed to convert early stage ideas into testable prototypes. This role is ideal for those seeking to take an iterative approach to developing MVPs, learning from them, and applying those learnings to future iterations. Successful team members will focus less on distribution of specific job duties and more on how to collaborate quickly to get meaningful prototypes into patients’ hands for clinical research.
This is a highly visible, creative, and agile role within a rapidly growing pre-IPO company in a nascent and fast-growing space. The role will be located in our trendy TriBeCa HQ, includes great benefits, and is an excellent wealth-building/equity opportunity for the right individual.

Click Therapeutics also complies with all applicable national, state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment as well as employment eligibility verification requirements of the Immigration and Nationality Act. All applicants must have authorization to work for Click Therapeutics in the U.S. In certain circumstances it may be advantageous to Click Therapeutics to support the application(s) for temporary visa classification and/or sponsor applications for permanent residence so that a foreign national colleague can accept or remain in a work assignment in the U. Click Therapeutics may at its business discretion decide to or refrain from obtaining, maintaining and/or extending the temporary visa status and/or sponsoring a colleague for permanent residency and /or employment eligibility, considering factors such as availability of qualified U.S. workers and the colleague's long-term prospects for securing lawful permanent residence, among other reasons.
