WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work with product owner, development team and architects to provide inputs to test strategy
  • Write functional, integration and acceptance test cases
  • Execute the test cases manually
  • Automate the test cases for regression testing
  • Plans and executes automation tasks and ensures testing standards are followed within team
  • Integrate test cycles with DevOps pipeline
  • Evaluate tools and technology, recommend framework and ability to do proof of concept
  • Work creatively and efficiently in troubleshooting and resolution of system issues
  • Ability to automate testing for front end application, back end services (REST APIs)
  • Defects documentation, tracking, prioritization and reporting
  • Test data and test environment management
  • Test script version management
  • Define, capture and report testing metrics

REQUIREMENTS

  • BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
  • Cypress for UI test automation
  • Karate for API testing
  • JMeter for performance / load testing
  • Minimum of 6-7 years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance in a financial services firm (e.g. Investment Banking, Asset Management), including writing manual tests, test automation development and execution
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience using Selenium/Cypress, Cucumber, Jenkins and use of all ALM modules with an emphasis on automation test execution and reporting from Test Lab and Traceability coverage metrics
  • Exposure to functional automation framework implementation and hands on coding
  • Exposure to AZURE dev ops, CI/CD integration
  • Exposure to following technologies: RDMS, SQL, *nix, windows, XML and Java
  • Strong foundation in various SDLC methodologies - Waterfall, Agile, Unified Process
  • Exposure to scripting languages like Jscript, Python would be an added advantage
