SummaryFirework is growing and we are excited to extend our Boutir product line and expand the Boutir engineering team! We’re looking for a talented Software Quality Assurance Engineer who will bring technical expertise and hands-on development of automated test development and SaaS solutions. The engineer will work with a global team of talented engineers to build an immersive and complete online experience for merchants to easily set up their online store and manage inventory. What you'll be doing

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and the rest of the engineering team to build elegant and scalable product experience across multiple platforms
• Responsible for the design and execution of test plans
• Manage testers to execute designed test plans
• Maintain and update test plans according to the product updates.
• Responsible for design and development of automated tests
• Improve QA engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Review automated test scripts designed by your peers on GitHub, offering help and insight from your experience
• Ensure coherence of all aspects of projects as an integrated system and uphold overall technical quality
• Strategize and develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends
• Keep up-to-date on the latest QA technology and trends
• Work as part of a team to develop high quality products

We'll be excited if you have

• A passionate story-teller, a life-hacker, and a love of programming. 
• Willing to take on a challenge with agility and working with talented teammates in a squad team environment
• Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing test plans for customer products, such as web applications, mobile applications, etc..
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing automated tests for customer products, such as web applications, mobile applications, etc..
• Desire to work in a start-up environment and develop quality internet products
• Love for the latest technologies
• Data-driven but also imaginative and intuitive in coming up with ideas and solutions.
• Comfortable with fast-paced change: ability to demonstrate comfort with ambiguity, adapt quickly and be effective in new situations in a highly dynamic setting.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills.

 The role may be hybrid in our Hong Kong office. For remote, we are looking for candidates in Hong Kong.
