The Role
Teachable is looking to expand our team and bring on a QA Engineer! We're a small, tight-knit team of smart people who like to get a lot done with minimal overhead. As a member of our Quality Assurance team, you’ll work closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure a high quality user experience across our platform.

Responsibilities
- Own QA processes for new features and product launches
- Create comprehensive test plans to cover all aspects of testing
- Create test scenarios based on requirements
- Develop new and maintain existing automated feature tests
- Work alongside the product team analyze design specs to detect potential issues in early stages of development
- Report defects and testing status
- Innovate and drive test automation best practices
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Selenium
- High level proficiency with Manual testing of web applications (Ruby on Rails, Angular, React)
- Strong familiarity with Cucumber/BDD
- Experience with continuous integration
- Comfortable working within a fast paced Agile environment
- Experience maintaining quality with a rapidly scaling engineering team via implementing QA processes and best practices
