DailyPay is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to lead our efforts in launching bug-free product updates and features. This person, reporting to the VP of Product, will help lead the QA process across Tech, Product, Partner Success, and Operations. This is a hands-on, operational role using QA background to determine strategy, tactics and implementation. It is a unique opportunity for a subject-matter expert to build out a QA presence within a quickly scaling company and product primarily focusing on empowering financial security.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reporting for all product features
• Perform integration, functionality, and end-to-end testing to approve all product features before releasing to production
• Cross-browser testing for all frontend product updates
• Implement automated QA tools to streamline and improve our testing processes
• Create and manage process for bug submissions, tracking, and validation of fixes
• Generate QA testing estimates to help align product release schedules
• Act as QA representative on all product teams supporting all departments in the company
• Verify that product documentation is sufficiently detailed to support development of QA materials
• Implement automated testing systems to constantly streamline and improve our QA system
• Build a foundation for leading and expanding the QA team

Core Competencies and Accomplishments:

• Strong background in reviewing business and functional requirements in order to produce comprehensive test strategy and test cases
• Lead or been a part of a QA team
• Experience with cross-browser testing (IE, Safari, Firefox, Chrome, etc)
• Track record of completing assignments on time with high degree of quality
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced SQL experience preferred
• Experience with automated testing tools preferred
