QA Engineer

 We are seeking a Financial Modelling QA, to work with our Development, Product and SME teams to ensure the accuracy and correctness of a variety of financial modelling capabilities of our Asset Modelling and Deal Structuring platform and play an integral role in the development of the core offering of a high growth stage company. This ideal candidate has a strong background in quality assurance around financial models and demonstrates high work ethics, passion for quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to define and run real-world test cases for asset and deal modelling functionality

• Work closely with the rest of the QA and development teams who site in our Tel Aviv office

• Verify the accuracy of the various financial calculations and asset models incorporated in the platform, and ensure new features maintain backward compatibility with existing models

• Evaluate product and user story specifications and convert them into actionable test plans

• Actively participate in planning sessions to plan testing strategy for releases

• Collaborate with our New-York based team made of a diverse group from ex-Wall-Street bankers and Bloomberg veterans to non-profit leaders

• Leverage your experience and skills to help the team, its members and our product become better  

Skills & Qualifications

 Required:

• At least 5+ years working as part of a QA/testing group within a Financial Services Technology firm or as part of a financial modelling team at a financial institution

• Strong analytical skills and experience with interviewing SME’s to gather information

• In depth knowledge of QA test methodologies and strategies

• Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills; attention to detail, thoroughness and strong ownership of work

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced, and high-growth environment

• Highly personable, positive individual who has the ability to forge relationships across the company

• Willingness to occasionally travel to our Tel Aviv office to collaborate with our product development teams

Preferred:

• Previous experience working at a startup

• Familiarity with testing web-based SaaS solutions

• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium

• Knowledge or interest in financial concepts
