Teachable is looking for a QA Engineer! We're a tight-knit team of smart people who like to get a lot done with minimal overhead. As a member of our Quality Assurance team, you’ll work closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure a high quality user experience across our platform.

Responsibilities
- Own QA strategy for one of our cross-functional product pods
- Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product specifications.
- Work alongside our product team to analyze design specs and detect potential issues in early stages of development
- Conduct functional and regression testing
- Report defects and testing statuses
- Identify test scenarios for automation
- Write automated integration tests (Selenium WebDriver, Capybara, Cucumber)
- Embrace a growth mindset and share a willingness learn new tools and technologies
Experience
- 2+ years of experience with test automation
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- Working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver
- Working knowledge of programming languages (Ruby is highly desired though we also work with Javascript, Python, etc)
- Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
- Experienced working in an Agile environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skill
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
