We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Social and Email Experiences team as a DevOps Engineer ideally in the Vancouver, BC or Seattle areas. You will join a team of experienced Software Development experts that is responsible for the strategic solution development for integrating social networks brand-specific conversations into our Conversational Cloud platform for further servicing and monitoring. This role provides an opportunity to enter a fast-growing organization and shape the future of LivePerson.

In this role you will:

• Create and maintain an infrastructure for Social and Email Messaging solutions
• Manage on-prem, cloud (AWS or GCP) and hybrid services
• Develop tools to improve efficiency and quality of system maintenance and operations
• Design and Deploy Automation of Container Applications using Kubernetes and Docker
• Document Deployment Processes, Services and Environments
• Build effective monitoring systems to keep track of the health of our systems, and alert us to take action before incident situations
• Solve problems occurring with our production systems, and build solutions and automation to prevent them from reoccurring

You should be an expert:

• AWS  (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3) or GCP
• Microservices architecture deployed in kubernetes
• Source control and CI/CD tools like Git, maven/gradle, Jenkins/Teamcity
• Package Management Tools like npm
• Automation of applications deployment to On premise/Cloud Environment
• Database (Elasticsearch, Postgres, Mongodb, Cassandra)
• Any Distributed Streaming Platform (Kafka, Spark)
• Automation tools like (salt/puppet/chef/ansible/airflow)
• Java and NodeJs Languages (as a plus)
