Galaxy Digital is a diversified merchant bank dedicated to the digital assets and blockchain technology industry, structured into four service areas: Principal Investing, Asset Management, Advisory and Trading. Galaxy Digital’s multi-disciplinary team has extensive experience spanning investing, portfolio management, capital markets, operations, and blockchain technology. While the firm is a start-up, it is also publicly traded in Canada and Frankfurt, with regulated operations in the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, London and Tokyo. We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Developer to build our QA capabilities, and partner with our developers to develop automation tools and scripts to quality assurance test our software development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop automation tools and scripts for our QA testing of our software development, primarily for our digital asset trading platform
• Work closely with developers and business users to establish comprehensive use cases and build automated test suites across entire stack
• Lead analysis, selection or build and implementation of QA tools and best practices; continuously improve as needed
• Assist PMO in building out QA best practices as part of our release cycle and training team on best practices
• Write test scripts, perform code reviews and ensure we deliver customer-focused production ready applications
• Fulfill any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business
• Establish KPIs and track QA performance metrics for organization
• Stay current on QA tools, systems and best practices

REQUIREMENTS/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
• Minimum 2 years hands-on QA automation development experience working with relevant technologies writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience working on automating testing of trading applications highly preferred, but will consider candidates with experience designing QA test plans for customer facing applications in financial services firms
• Knowledge of/experience with our stack: Web application, Vue or React, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Amazon Cloud
• Nice to have: blockchain or crypto currency experience
