DESCRIPTION

Clevertech is looking for a Front End Javascript Engineer in New York City to join our local team. In this role you will have significant front end responsibility in one of our project development teams to ensure client satisfaction by using modern design patterns, and cutting edge development thinking including isomorphic code, stateless components, and functional concepts.

Well qualified applicants will have deep experience in the latest libraries and programming techniques. You will have accomplishments that showcase your capabilities by their success and technical depth. We use React, React Native and D3.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years professional experience working with NodeJS
• Strong domain knowledge on web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Strong React/Redux experience
• Build tools like Gulp, Bower or Grunt
• CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS)
• Comfortable in a test-driven development environment
• Self-motivated, proactive and take ownership of issues
• Thrive and excel in our diverse, distributed and agile team environment
• Knowledge about the Lean Startup and Agile Methodologies
• Strong communicator and fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
