To better service our customers and support our corporate sales and customer success teams, we are looking for talented Sales Engineers to bridge the gap between our internal customer facing teams and communicate with external key stakeholders throughout the sales development process. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be expected to become a SME and champion for our products and underlying philosophies. You will share this expertise with our customers, who are themselves pioneers in engineering management. It will be your mission to understand customers’ needs, and to remove any technical barriers preventing customers from truly understanding the value that Code Climate has to offer. In this role you will get the unique opportunity to apply what you learn in the field to help shape our product roadmap and strategy and to create best practices as we continue to scale our company and culture. 

Examples of Problems You’ll Be Solving: 

  • Provide technical leadership during presale processes, respond to RFIs and RFPs, and perform technical demonstrations and compatibility assessments
  • Lead consultative conversations and Proof-of-Concepts with our customers to ensure the successful evaluation and deployment of Code Climate products
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure all needs of our customer are being addressed in a way that demonstrate we are a trusted advisor to the customer
  • Implement solutions to resolve acute technical operation issues for our corporate customers
