Meeting your future team:

  • Sales Engineering function provides accurate and timely business analysis and product technical expertise to prospects, customers and partners to improve sales execution and customer success.
  • In this role, you will collaborate with AVP, other SEs, AEs, CSMs and Product Management functions to cover foundational and technical concepts of the Collibra SaaS platform.
  • In this role you will work as One Collibra, collaborating and building relationships cross-functionally and across geographies for the larger team’s success.

Sales Engineers at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Conducting sales presentations and demos, both on site and via zoom
  • Provide sales qualification support 
  • Developing sales proposals with Enterprise AEs
  • Providing technical sales support (including technology integration)
  • Preparing and presenting product during demonstrations of our SaaS platform
  • Run end to end proof of concepts (including technology integration)
  • Preparing and providing input for technical sections of RFPs/ RFQs
  • Communicating with product management and sales enablement on issues identified from field observations and customer feedback
  •  

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 5+ years’ experience working as a Senior Sales Engineer, must be enterprise software
  • Proven track record of demonstrating software tool solutions and executing successful proof of concept plans to enterprise prospects
  • Worked with at least three of the following: BigData platform, NoSQL platform, data modeling tools, API’s, Java coding, BPMN engines
  • Knowledgeable of the challenges faced by several vertical markets including high tech, financial services, healthcare, government, and retail.
  • Previous responsibilities for all technical aspects of the full sales cycle (including technical and business combined workshops and POC)

  • Able to communicate effectively, in English, via multiple channels (verbal, written) with technical and non-technical staff across internal and external organizations
  • Someone with ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams across several geographies
  • Focused on impact, through enabling the success of others with a strong team mentality
