Girls Who Code is a non-profit organization that aims to close the gender gap in technology. We’re looking for an certified Salesforce Administrator to join our growing team! This position is based in New York City. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for overall support, maintenance and functioning of the Salesforce for Girls Who Code. They will also engage in promoting adoption by user training, documentation, and work cross-functionally to align the work of various departments to integrate seamlessly with Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as an administrator of the Salesforce database, including the creation and maintenance of workflows, custom fields, reports, dashboard development, and data flow management
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Manage data imports, database de-duping and database cleanup for data accuracy
  • Identifies production risks and areas for improvement; prioritizes, designs and facilitates successful implementation and adoption of new processes.
  • Utilizes analytical skills to respond to requested additions/changes and identify customizations appropriately
  • Acts as primary contact for all Salesforce reporting requests. 
  • Develops and maintains user roles, profiles, security settings, access levels, hierarchies, etc.
  • Manage and maintain relevant third-party integrations, including Campaign Monitor, Eventbrite, SurveyGizmo, etc.
  • Provides day-to-day end-user support including implementation, user adoption, system configuration and maintenance, formulas, testing, data integrity, backups, and others as identified
  • Conducts new Salesforce application testing and implementation as-needed
  • Develops and documents department specific views, processes, fields, notifications, reports, custom objects, page layouts and workflows
  • Updates and maintains Salesforce system documentation and Salesforce Best Practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Administration, Computer Science or STEM-related field
  • Familiarity with APEX code or SQL queries is a plus
  • Familiarity with relational databases and related concepts is desirable.
  • Experience with AppExchange and third party solutions such as Eventbrite, Campaign Monitor, etc. is recommended.
  • Experience working alongside a team of developers and working in a rapidly changing development environment.
  • Salesforce Admin Certification required (ADM 201), Advanced Admin (ADM 301) or Developer (DEV 401) preferred.
  • 1+ year Salesforce administrator or related experience.
