Salesforce Architect

Movable Ink’s Salesforce team is looking for a certified Salesforce Developer who either performs the role of an architect currently, or is on path to architect certification. This person is comfortable collaborating with a team of Administrators, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and additional internal stakeholders where needed. This person will be heavily focused on development work within the Salesforce environment, training Admins on Apex triggers and best practices, but may also be asked to help with Administrative tasks where necessary.
This role will be responsible for evaluating current business logic in Workflows, Process Builders, and Flows, and rewriting the logic in Apex using best practices. The developer will monitor and maintain the system for performance, and also work with InfoSec on various security initiatives such as Event Monitoring and API collaboration. A successful candidate will proactively provide guidance and recommendations on current integrations, evaluating them and identifying where they can be eliminated and written in Apex.
Responsibilities:
- Own all aspects of new programmatic development within Salesforce
- Rewrite declarative business logic using best practices in Apex
- Evaluate third party tools to see how they can potentially be replaced with custom solutions
- Collaborate with IT, Business Systems, InfoSec, and Engineering to maintain in-house integrations
- Create and maintain documentation regarding any programmatic changes or new builds within Salesforce
- Maximize the utilization of existing business applications and technologies
- Consult with the business on future in-house implementations and advise on best practices for 3rd party implementations
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce Development experience
- 4+ Experience working with API, 3rd Party, and custom integrations
- Excellent analytical, process design and problem solving skills
- Prior experience with deployment methodologies and version control
- Experience mentoring junior resources on best practices within Salesforce architecture
- Certified Systems Architect (preferred) OR a combination of the following: Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Sharing and Visibility Designer, Integration Architecture Designer
