As a part of the Business Systems team, the Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and usable Salesforce solutions involving: configuration of Salesforce and Managed Packages, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integration, applicable code creation, business process automation, and other custom functionality. The Salesforce Developer will collaborate with a team of Salesforce administrators, developers, and product owners to design and deploy solutions applying the Agile design and build frameworks.
Amplify requires all staff to provide proof of vaccination for in-person meetings unless an approved exemption is provided.
Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team to develop solutions, using development best practices like code reviews, unit tests, functional testing, and automation of functional and performance test cases to ensure that the feature is delivered with the highest quality
  • Manage Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with hardware, software, networking, and security stack
  • Design & develop solutions on the SFDC platform using a mix of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning
  • Contribute expertise regarding how proposed technology solutions would impact the current SFDC environment
  • Develop software solutions using Salesforce.com API framework, and 3rd party APIs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Effectively balance multiple projects against ambitious target dates
  • Design solutions with maximum usability while minimizing complex code and customization
  • Effectively manage multi-level stakeholder communications


Basic Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience with Salesforce.com architecture, Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, and Classes
  • Minimum 3 years experience in implementing advanced formulas and workflow rules to enforce business processes.
  • Experience with Lightning, Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL), and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL)
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge developing in Salesforce
  • Experience with web programming including, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and related web technologies
  • Experience with web services development
  • Experience working on SOAP / REST API based web service integrations
  • Experience with integration models and scenarios to include Salesforce in a full-stack ecosystem
  • Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce data models and security components
  • Proficiency with project management tools and best practices (e.g. JIRA, Rally, etc)


Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience developing technology-enabled solutions that address the needs of mid-large organizations
  • Experience with MVC design patterns
  • Experience with process automation, data modeling and logic
  • Certification(s) Preferred: Platform Developer I & II
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Field Service Lightning, and other enterprise Force.com applications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related areas
  • Experience working in companies supporting K-12 education
