 ROLE DESCRIPTION: The Principal Quality Engineer will work as a part of DriveWealth’s Quality Engineer team. You will be embedded into a product line ensuring its software meets the Quality Engineer standards and automate our QA process and testing. We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to share ideas, make changes, and improve the process all while raising the alarm bell when quality issues arise.

Responsibilities
●     Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
●     Automate test cases using test framework/tools
●     Test Execution across various environments
●     Analyzing test results and reporting defects to the Engineering team
●     Collaborate with the Engineering team to correct the defects
●     Creating release artifacts and documentation
●     Testing of Back-End server software
●     Testing of UI applications

Requirements
●     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/similar technical field, or prior equivalent experience
●     A good knowledge of test management software, and QA methodologies
●     Experience with Postman/BDD Cucumber framework or similar tools for REST API testing
●     10+ years of experience in a QA and/or engineering role testing Back-End Applications
●     Good understanding of testing brokerage applications (Money movement/Payment/Trading)
●     Understanding of JSON, ActiveMQ and Kafka messaging
●     Experience with NoSQL and SQL database environments
●     Knowledge of one or more scripting languages including Groovy, Python
●     Knowledge of Java/Java script for automating test cases using BDD/Cucumber framework
●     Comfortable in a Linux environment
●     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Bonus Points
●     Experience with JIRA, TestRail, and git
●     Experience in performance testing and throttling of API gateway
●     Knowledge of JMeter
●     Experience with Java based applications
●     Experience with Amazon Web Services
●     Experience in a fin-tech or financial services company
●     Prior experience working in an agile environment
