As a Security Architect at NS1 you will be responsible for strategic decision making as it pertains to software development, security design, and risk planning. The high visibility role will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer and work collaboratively with development teams, product management, and Engineering Leadership.

You will:

• Provide architecture leadership and design recommendations to ensure systems development aligns with security standards and best practices
• Lead security design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with business objectives
• Lead definition of coding standards; lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate “security in design” patterns are followed
• Build a distributed security champions program to align development and security partnership
• Represent security interests as a member of the Architecture Council
• Oversee security architecture and ongoing assessment of security technologies and industry and market trends, to determine their potential impact on the enterprise architecture
• Oversee implementation and ongoing assessment of application security tooling including SAST, DAST, and SCA and inclusion of these tools into the SDLC

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• 7 + years of experience in Infrastructure or security architecture/engineering/operations
• Experience in public cloud architecture and operations running in multiple distributed environments
• Knowledge of distributed systems and architecture, along with Infrastructure Security
• Experience with application security design principles
• Knowledge of container orchestration platforms and security best practices for containers
• Knowledge of security principles and best practices in public cloud operations (AWS)
• Knowledge of DNS, IPAM, and DHCP
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related Cyber-Security certifications and/or equivalent work experience

• Must have a valid U.S. work authorization to apply
